Robin was born in Malta on May 29, 1948, the son of Leonard and Vivian (Hellie) McMullen. He was raised on the family farm North of Whitewater. He attended and graduated from Whitewater High School. After graduation Robin worked various trades including several years at M&F Chevrolet. Robin hadn't worked at M&F Chevrolet for long before he met the love of his life, Bonnie Lucht, at Stines Nite Club. They were married on June 14, 1975. Any chance Robin and Bonnie had they would head to Nelson Reservoir to camp and fish. Robin then went to work for KN Energy (Noble Energy) where he worked until his retirement. After his retire-ment, Robin and Bonnie spent a great deal of time at Nelson. They lived for the summers. With the camper and boat in tow, they would head off to do what Robin loved to do, fish.

Robin and Bonnie had two sons, Robert and Christopher. He enjoyed taking his boys hunting, fishing, camping and teaching them everything they needed to know to succeed in life. There was nothing Robin loved more than spending time with his sons. His dream was to take his family to Alaska this summer so that he could take his boys fishing. If he wasn't hunting or fish-ing you would find him in the meat house, often with his boys, making his famous pepperoni sticks for all his family and friends to enjoy.

One of Robin's greatest joys were his two granddaughters, Amy and Brynlee. He enjoyed attending Amy's various school events and rocking Brynlee to sleep. He couldn't wait to give Brynlee her first chocolate bar.

Robin had a heart of gold. He was always willing to help anyone at anytime for anything.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie of Whitewater; sons, Robert (Beth) McMullen of Billings, Christopher McMullen (Jenny Haskin)of Billings; his mother Vivian McMullen of Malta; siblings, Ray (Arabelle) McMullen of Whitewater, Wilma (Bud) Mavencamp of Malta, Barb (Morris)Mavencamp of Havre, Pat (Darrell) Omdahl of Belgrade, Mike (Meriam) McMullen of Mesilla Park, New Mexico, Terry McMullen of Spokane, Washington; two granddaughters Amy of Havre and Brynlee McMullen of Billings; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and one surviving uncle.
