Crimestoppers seeks assistance in three cases in Phillips County

On Monday, July 7, 2014, the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief to a boat located on South 3rd Street West where it appeared the boat had been shot with paint balls. During the investigation, it was determined that it was not paint balls, but eggs which had been thrown onto the boat. The paint was already fading where the egg was located. There is no estimate of the damage at this time.

Also on July 7, a report was received of damage to a 2003 PT Cruiser located at Phillips Village. It appeared the vehicle had been hit with a blunt object. The estimate to fix the damage is $1950.00.

On Tuesday, July 8, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary to the Town & Country Store in Dodson. The front door was forcefully entered and cigarettes and cash were tak-en. The burglary is believed to have happened in the early morning hours of July 8. There are no estimates of the damage and stolen items at this time.
