Loring News for week of July 28, 2014

Loring Woman’s Club will be held on July 16th hosting.

Loring Lutheran Church will be at 9:30 on Sunday with Cindy Clark officiating.

Ellie Norville spent the week with her Grandma Carol and Grandpa Pete. Carol took her home to White Hall on Thursday.

The ditches are being swathed and baled and the haybet is getting close to being swathed. The blue flax is still blooming beautifully and the peas are putting on pods. It is the super moon again when the full moon is closest to earth for the next three months, so check it out.

Congratulations to Jason and Trisha Morrison on the birth of their son, Kage. Mick and Paula Morrison are the grandparents.

Looks like Loring has a new resident. Mark Lageson has a mobile home near the stock yards. Welcome to the neighborhood, Mark!

Kenny and Brenda Clark and family took in the Prairie Bell Farms 100th Anniversary in Rapelje over the weekend. It has been in the Erfle family for a century so the Erfles had a family celebration!

Josh and Jake Obie and Jamie Anderson, formerly of Whitewater,

Tracey Hanley and family and Kenny and Brenda Clark and family represented the north central area of Montana at the Huntley Homesteader Days.

Lots of range in weather this week, hot, 97 degrees, cool, 42 degrees, windy, calm, rain, fog, and lots of smoke from the fires in other countries and states! Much better today!

Scott and Roxanne Cowan and Debbie and Ayden Richau spent a few days in the Loring area visiting Tom and Dixie Stordahl and Barbara Cowan. We took a road trip to Turner Cemetary on Saturday and visited Dad and then stopped by Tim

Cowan’s to see Keith and Tim for a few minutes.

The Pete Lumsden family all met at the Fourchette Bay south of Malta for a fun weekend on the Missouri River.

Jackie Lageson of Boston is visiting her sister Cindy Clark and brother Mark Lageson for a few days.

Get well wishes to Twilla Johanneson who has had gall bladder surgery and is on the road to recovery!
