Dirt Daubers honor Lucas with Green Thumb Award

The Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club recently awarded member Grace Lucas as the recipient of their 2014 Circle of Green Thumb Award. President Sharon Miller presented the award at a recent luncheon held at the Great Northern Restaurant. Grace has been an active member for over nineteen years. During these years, she has served as club president and state chaplain. She was chairperson of the Scholarship Project and the Woodsy Owl/Smokey Bear contest held each year at the elementary schools.
