One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for October 322, 2014

We are indeed thankful along with Jim and Dee Shettel that they are OK after a tire came off a horse trailer, came rolling down the road and hit their car in the front. The car sustained substantial damage with no apparent serious injury to Jim or Dee.

Dora Henry was in Havre Wednesday for medical. On Friday, Dora and Polly Solberg visited Gladys Thackeray at the Sweet Nursing Home in Chinook and going on to Havre visited Marilyn Henry and Betty Munson also.

Dean and Carol Kienenberger enjoyed a visit from daughter Darcy and granddaughter Kendall from Cut Bank.

Our condolences are sent to Darlene Pugh and family in the loss of her son, Rob Pugh. So sorry for your loss.

Polly Solberg attended the Gospel Jamboree in Malta on Sunday. A group from Belt won.

Bonnie and Corky LaBrie stopped at Dora Henry’s on their way home from Havre on Sunday.

NorthWestern Energy had a company cutting trees and clearing power lines this week in town.

Some of the trees are sure being stubborn and are late in losing their leaves this year. Hope this means a warmer winter. Everyone is still trying to clean yards and getting ready for the winter season.

Anniversary greetings are sent to Don and Connie Wilkes.

It is better to be a coward for a minute than to be dead for the rest of your life.
