Panthers at Havre Lions meet

Though the team is young, Saco track is off to a great start as they took on the Havre Lions Invitational meet last Saturday.

The team’s lone varsity athlete, Alana Malmend fared well at the Havre Lions Invitational last Saturday, taking third in both the 200 meter dash (30.03) and high jump (4-06).

Participating at the meet at junior varsity, Jada Sudbrack took first in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 57.90.

Sudbrack also placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 12-10.25 and seventh in the 100 meter dash after recording a time of 14.60.
