  • This Time, I Figured Out How to Relax!

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jul 24, 2024

Relaxing is not something that I do well. For the last couple of weeks, I did better than I thought. How could one not relax on a cruise ship? Somewhere around 2010, I cruised the wrong way! I could not relax. It was hard for me to sleep at a decent time, and I averaged only a few hours of sleep a day. Last week, I found myself on my second cruise and heading to the Bahamas for the Fauth Family Reunion, a trip similar to the trip I took in 2011 but vastly different. This time, I was determined t...

  • Take Care of Your Chompers

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jul 3, 2024

It is an odd feeling when you lose a part of you. Thankfully, what I lost last week wasn’t that big of a thing, in fact it might’ve saved my life. It was most of my tooth. It started with a toothache and ended with a root canal. Well, I suppose now I am waiting for a crown. I did okay, but I would be lying if I were to say that I was completely brave throughout this process. One random weekend, my tooth was in so much pain that it became unbearable. So sore that I couldn’t chomp on anything. I w...

  • These Allergies... Worth it.

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jun 27, 2024

After the last few years of drought that we have experienced in Montana, the green grass, trees, and foliage has been wonderful to see. We have driven in every direction and it has been extremely encouraging to see. While my eyes love what I am seeing, my allergies have never been worse here. This weekend, it feels like I sneezed more than I have ever sneezed over the course of two days. Energy is zapped. My nose runs, my eyes and ears itch. I have never cracked the code on keeping my allergies...

  • Heavy is The Head That Sits on This Neck

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jun 19, 2024

I have a problem. Ok, maybe not the biggest problem. But it is massive! It’s my head. I do not know why the good Lord chose to give me such a massive noggin, but he did and it is a problem! Don’t tell me that it is to hold a massive brain, because if I had a massive brain, I believe that I could use it to become a billionaire. I also think I would be able to remember a lot more things than I forget. For years, I was convinced that I could not find a hat big enough for this dome. For those that h...

  • My Father Gave Me Life and My Favorite Hobby

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jun 12, 2024

I don’t have very many hobbies or things that I absolutely love to do for fun. I do enjoy a video game, but I can’t say that it is something that I would miss if I didn’t have a gaming system. It’s just something I use to decompress. I used to decompress in healthier ways. My favorite hobbies that I used to decompress were drumming and lifting weights. For years I would play music on Sundays, Wednesdays, and on random days that my friends wanted to practice. I have pulled all nighters playing mu...

  • I Don't Even Recognize a Space in my Own House

    Pierre Bibbs, Play Ball|Jun 5, 2024

My wife is amazing. Like many other occupations, I can’t always take a day off on holidays that fall on a Monday. This was the case for Memorial Day. I do however try to hustle and get things done so that my staff and I have the option to go home early. This year, I did get things wrapped up early, and was excited to spend time with my family. I entered the garage to find a lot of things in our enclosed back porch were in our garage or on the backyard. I had no idea what was going on. So I s...
