Phillips County Fair Spotlight for July 29, 2015

Cathy Bear has been in Dodson since 1996 and taken care of the fairgrounds since 2001. "Berta Anderson came to my house in May of 2001 and saw how nice and green my grass was. At graduation time she asked me if I would be interested in being the yard maintenance person at the fairgrounds? I said, Sure. So I took on little spots at a time that year, then the next year more spots. Then I started taking on more mowing, more painting, more of the whole thing of the fairgrounds. There used to be no grass in the midway. They used to come and just hay it all up before fair. Now it's all green gras...
