Thomas John Knudsen

MALTA- Thomas John Knudsen, a rancher and life-long resident of Phillips County, died suddenly on September 1, 2015 at the age of 32 at his home at Beaver Creek.

The family will receive friends at 7 p.m.., Friday September 4, 2015, at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel. His services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday September 5, 2015 at Kirkwood Memorial Chapel. Tom was born in Havre on July 1, 1983 to Steve and Lori. He graduated from Malta High School in 2002. Tom attended Rocky Mountain College and MSU-Northern before settling into his career as a rancher. Tom married Jasmine on June 24, 2006. He proudly welcomed his first daughter, Kodi, on June 27, 2011, with Kaci following on September 2, 2014 to equal excitement. Tom's "girls" were the most important part of his life in every way.

Tom was a devoted father and husband whose love for others was incredible. He was very proud of his family, his ranch, and his countless friends. Tom loved the outdoors and agriculture, including tending to his cattle and driving his truck. Tom will always be remembered as an exceptionally hard worker, as well as a loyal friend, with a wide grin and calm, funny demeanor. Tom was always willing to lend a hand or ear to anyone in need. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends, far and wide.

Tom is survived by his beautiful wife, Jasmine (Crasco), and his two daughters Kodi and Kaci, the loves of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Steve and Lori Knudsen; his grandparents, John Webb and Lloyd and Earline Knudsen; his father- and mother-in-law, Jake and Juanita Crasco; his sister, Stefani Spilker, and her husband Kevin and family; his brother- and sister-in-laws, Marie and Jim MacNeely and family, AJ and Stacy Crasco and family, Derrick and Melissa Shambo and family, Kim Brockie and family; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances Webb, and his cousin, Duane Webb.
