First Annual "Doll Up Your Dolls" Benefit Fundraiser to be held for the Malta Boys & Girls Club

Anyone who has skills in sewing, knitting or crocheting is invited to show off their talent during the first annual “Doll Up Your Dolls” fundraiser to help benefit the Malta Boys and Girls Club. The event will be held at this year’s Specialty Fair on Saturday, November 7, at the Malta City Hall.

There will be two categories: “Dressed for the Ball” and “Costumes Around the World.” Contestants need to procure a new or “gently used” 11 ½” doll and handcraft a gown for it by either sewing, crocheting or knitting. Embellishments for the doll’s hair, arms, hands, legs,...
