One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of September 30, 2015

Our sympathy goes to the families of the following who passed away: Elsie (Math) Jacobs, of Glasgow – formally farmers between Whitewater and Loring.

Glenna (Soennichsen) Ehret – Glenna went to school in Whitewater and Ehret, her husband (deceased), taught high school here (Glenna’s daughter, Noelle, is an employee at Westside Café in Malta.)

Belated sympathy to Bob and Pat Anderson on the loss of her brother, Roy Jones, formerly of Malta.

Congratulations to Carli and Guy Simanton and Jett and Brie Anderson on their recent weddings. Carli and Guy had a reception at the Buffalo Barn and Buffalo Hot Springs. Brie and Jett’s wedding and reception were in Havre and many from Whitewater attended both weddings.

The Taylors went to Wyoming to Desiree’s (former Whitewater resident) to babysit the older children as they wait to greet Desiree’s new baby.

The Wisher’s went to Havre on Baptist Church business.

Note: If you need to contact Montana Dakota Utilities, call Bismarck, North Dakota. Whatever happened to our local offices when business was simpler?

Congratulations to KMMR Radio for 35 years on the air! Hope you have many more.

Dallas and Ashley Green completed their custom combining season as Dallas finished combining at Sally Austin’s. Hope everyone has “their” work all done this fall so you can relax.

There was a Bible Study at Whitewater Lutheran Church for ladies on Monday night. It was led by Lynn Hill of Whitewater.

My sister, Janet Brown of Billings, called and is coming for a visit. That is nice.
