One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of December 16, 2015

What a beautiful December we have had so far! A little snow, a little fog, lots of sun, and a full day of really hard wind! I suppose the below zero temperatures will hit one of these days!

Whitney and Jay Blunt had a great time at the NFR in Vegas this past week. Amus and Everett stayed with Grandma and Papa Lumsden. They all went to Billings this weekend to visit Granny Ruth who is recovering and doing well!

The Whitewater Independent Baptist Church after school kids club sang Christmas songs and entertained at the Hi-Line Retirement Center on Wednesday. The Loring Woman's Club joined them to visit with the residents. Cindy Clark, Gail Simonson, Amy Simonson, Heather Simonson, Connie Wasson, Paula Morrison, Carol Lumsden, and Dixie Stordahl all participated from the Woman's Club.

On Saturday Dixie Stordahl attended the Christmas party at the HLRC. Songs were sung with the Wishers, poems were recited, games were played and treats were sampled! Kent and Reene Wasson also attended.

Loring Lutheran Church will be held at 9:30 a.m. on the 20th. Then on Christmas Eve the services will be at 5 p.m. .

Many people from the Loring Area attended the basketball games in Whitewater between the North Country Mavericks and Frazer Bear Cubs. The Dingits and Dangits played at half time, entertaining the crowd, especially their grandparents!

The next game in Whitewater is Dec. 19. It will also be senior night, honoring the seniors at Whitewater High! Keep on the nice list!
