Phillips County Museum News for December 16, 2015

They come from near and far. All searching for a tidbit just a glimpse of their past. Some find a happy ever after story others find murder and mayhem. Regardless of the end result, 90% of those who come through the museum door looking for information on their ancestors are successful. Often the staff is able to find the homestead records and a copy of the original paper, sometimes our research library provides pictures of ancestors, even old newspaper articles giving a glimpse of the activities of those that came before us.
