PUBLIC NOTICE FOR OPERATING ASSISTANCE

This is to notify all interested parties that PHILLIPS TRANSIT AUTHORITY is applying for $142,294 under the Montana Department of Transportation’s Operating Grant Program 5311. Funding will be used for operating expenses associated with providing transportation services to the general public, elderly and persons with disabilities within Phillips County for the FY 2017.

The application is on file at 311 S. 8th. Ave. E., Malta, MT. If requested, a public hearing will be held and public notice indicating the location, date and time of the hearing will be provided. SACO SCHOOL DISTRICT #12 A & B REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Saco School District #12 A & B, County of Phillips, Saco, Montana (Owner) has determined that an “alternative project delivery” contract is justified for purchase of additional teacher housing in that the project presents significant schedule ramifications that make if necessary to meet critical deadlines by shortening the duration of construction by means of less or shorter duration of disruption to the housing availability and the design process will contribute to significant cost savings. The process will involve the following:

PHASE ONE: Contactors will submit a “Contractor Qualifications Questionnaire” (CQQ) for review under the “Design-Build” method of project delivery. The Housing Committee will review qualifications, references and contractor mark-up as needed to select contractors qualified for Phase Two.

PHASE TWO; The Housing Committee will interview qualified Contractors and score them based on a combination of Phase One CQQ, answers to interview questions and other information learned during the interview. Based on the Housing Committee’s scoring, a preferred contractor will be selected for Phase Three.

PHASE THREE: Based on completed set of proposal documents provided by Saco School District #12 A & B, the preferred contractor will the propose a Guaranteed Maximum Price and schedule for delivery for evaluation by the Housing Committee. After review and negotiations, a recommendation for final contract will be submitted to the Owner for approval.

DOCUMENTS: The Contractor Qualification Questionnaire (CQQ) and design proposal may be examined at the Saco School District #12 A & B District Office located at 321 Hwy 243, Saco, Montana. The above documents may also be obtained by contacting the District Office by telephone at 406.527.3531 or by mail at PO Box 298, Saco, MT 59261.

DUE DATES: CQQ’s from interested contractors must be returned to the Saco School District #12 A & B District Office no later than February 15, 2016. Interviews will be scheduled no later than February 22, 2016 to select a preferred contractor.
