The above pictured interested community members and healthcare stakeholders recently met at the Phillips County Hospital for an informational meeting about our community of Phillips County becoming a "Cardiac Ready Community" presented by Janet Trethewey from Montana DPHHS Cardiac Ready Communities program.
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is the recipient of a gift of $3.2 million from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, one of the nation's largest foundations, to implement a three-year Cardiac Ready Communities initiative in Montana.
