Malta Wrestling Club places four at Little Guy State Tourney

Malta’s Little Guy Wrestling club fared well at the 2016 Little Guy State tournament at Conrad High School last Saturday, placing four of five of the team’s participants.

The team was lead by Straud Sims took third place in the eight and under 66 pound class after defeating NMWC’s Max Miller by 10-1 Majority Decision.

Dre Oshio took fourth place in the twelve through fourteen 122 pound class after a loss by pinfall to Shelby’s Sahkia Wehr in the third place match.
