One Nation, Under God

Tallow Creek News for the week of May 18, 2016

I went to Czech for three months. I left in January, and came home in April. My parents took me to Prague, the capital city. There were beautiful buildings with carved sculptures on them. We saw a gold man, a bronze man, and a silver man. We met Mommy on the Charles Bridge. Then, Daddy took us to the clock tower. Everyone had gathered in the town square. Suddenly, the clock began to chime. Two doors opened and the twelve apostles circled behind the open doors. Meanwhile, a skeleton rang a bell inside the clock and turned over an hourglass. Three other figures just shook their heads. Later, we went up into the tower. We saw Prague Castle from the tower. Then we went back to the train station. We walked on the Charles Bridge to get there. The train ride was really long. But our day in Prague was worth it.
