Fubuki Daiko: Drumming meets martial art at MHS

The Northeastern Arts Network Big Sky Concert Season 2nd show features an amazing array of sounds that utilizes martial arts with traditional Japanese drumming. Monday, November t brings Fubuki Daiko to the Malta High School Auditorium stage. Their music combines martial arts, athleticism, meditation and rhythm. For over 20 years, they have performed at festivals, concert halls and schools across North America.

The core members of the group each have over 25 years of taiko experience and received their formative training from the founder of North American Taiko. They hail from Winnepeg, Manitoba where they expanded into the current professional touring ensemble. The group's self – titled CD received a Prairie Music Award for Outstanding Instrumental Recording. They will be spectacular and you will go home remembering this performance for years to come!

Tickets will be available at the door. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for students (Students with activity passes – free).
