Dodson News for March 1, 2017

The School is having their Science Fair this week with judging on Thursday. Good luck students. This week has turned cold again with small amounts of snow nearly every day. Dave and Laurel Hines represented the Gideon’s and spoke at the Lutheran Church on Sunday. We enjoyed having them and having Dave sing several hymns for us. We again thank Jack and Ethel Siemens of Harlem for their dedication as lay people to serve the Dodson Lutheran Church. The Lenten season starts Wednesday, March 1. The Catholics will hold Lent services and soup and bread on Mondays, The Lutheran Church will have Ash Wednesday Services at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, with home studies and services thereafter during Lent. Happy birthday to everyone having a Birthday this week and anniversary greetings are extended to all celebrating a wedding anniversary. Love does not consist of two people looking at each other, but of two people looking in the same direction.
