Trace Simonson took second in the 300 hurdles with a time of 44.95 at the District 3C meet in in Wolf Point
The Dodson, Saco and Whitewater track teams each had placers in the 2017 District 3C Track Meet last Saturday in Wolf Point.
The Scobey Spartans took first place with a total of 258.5. The Nashua Porcupines took second with 63.5. The Whitewater Penguins took third with 48. The Frazer Bearcubs and Hinsdale Raiders tied for fourth with 46 points each. Saco was sixth with 32 points.
Whitewater’s Trace Simonson took first place in discus with a throw of 140-08.
“It feels good,” Simonson said.
He has won several discus events this season and he shared the key to his success.
