Lack of candidates as deadline looms for local elections

Candidates wishing to file for City Mayor or as Council Members have until the close of filing at 5 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017. Any person wishing to file for office who is a registered voter in Phillips County and resides within the city limits and ward, may obtain the required forms and fee information from the Election Office located in the Courthouse at 314 South 2nd Avenue West or by calling 406-654-2423.

Malta, Dodson and Saco each have the Mayor position and two Council Member positions available.
