10:25 p.m. Female reported a light on a City pump house; information passed onto City employee.

August 25, 2017

8:23 a.m. Central Security reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay and no fire.

9:02 a.m. Male reported a credit card scam.

10:25 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

12:08 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property from a local residence; Deputy handled the call.

4:03 p.m. Deputy received a report of two broken round bales on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputies responded to the call and removed the hay.

4:13 p.m. Male reported receiving threats from a caller; reporting party later advised the call came from scammers and all was okay.

4:28 p.m. Female reported activity in an abandoned building happening; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised of extra patrol and more security checks would occur.

4:46 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Glasgow; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:58 p.m. Male reported a missing cell phone.

6:30 p.m. Male reported two other males walking down the middle of Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; males located and transported to the county line; information passed onto CMR Officer and Fergus Co SO.

8:03 p.m. Central MT Dispatch reported a non-injury, vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191 south, just north of the Missouri River Bridge; caller reported minor damage to vehicle and kept driving south; Deputy responded to the call; deer not located.

8:19 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman area.

10:41 p.m. Female reported a vehicle and lights on at a residence where no one was living; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay, was the residential area owner.

August 26, 2017

2:26 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

2:46 a.m. Deputy reported a business garage door was left open; business manager contacted and business secured.

8:30 a.m. Male reported an eastbound vehicle on Hwy 2, speeding; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

8:44 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle on CMR parked for several days with no activity; information passed onto CMR Officer.

9:44 a.m. Local MHP Trooper responded to Ft Belknap for an emergency medication transport to the PC Hospital.

10:02 a.m. Male reported possible abuse of livestock; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

11:02 a.m. Male reported a possible phone scam.

2:30 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Troy Salveson, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing.

6:28 p.m. Male reported his vehicle was broken down on Hwy 2, near the Sleeping Buffalo and would be removed the next day.

8:27 p.m. Male reported a possibly stolen vehicle and trailer; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:35 p.m. Local Border Patrol Agent reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy handled the call.

9:17 p.m. Female reported “a kid with a flashlight” in the Malta Cemetery; Deputy responded to the call; light was not in the cemetery, in a residential yard; only deer located in the cemetery.

10:09 p.m. Local business reported needing law enforcement assistance per a patron’s request; Deputy responded to the location; patron needed an ambulance for a medical problem; local EMT Crew responded to the location; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

August 27, 2017

12:28 a.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance with removing a male from outside of the building; Deputies responded to the call; male left the location without further incident.

12:54 a.m. Female reported a male walking down the street; caller advised he had been reported and was okay.

11:53 a.m. Male requested a welfare check on a local female the caller believed may harm herself; Deputy responded to the call; female located and was okay.

3:59 p.m. Male reported a vehicle supposedly left his residence; Deputy handled the call.

4:02 p.m. Female reported a break-in to her residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:26 p.m. Female reported a possible theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised situation was a civil matter and needed to contact the Justice of the Peace.

August 28, 2017

9:56 a.m. Female filed a written complaint on being harassed; Undersheriff handled the call.

1:50 p.m. Male reported a possible trespass to property and an unauthorized use of a vehicle; Undersheriff responded to the call; third party reported the person in question had permission to use the suspected vehicle.

2:30 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Troy Salveson, from PCSO Jail on time served.

4:14 p.m. Female reported a possible scam.

4:23 p.m. Female reported a family member being threatened on a social media website; Deputy handled the call.

5:13 p.m. Blaine Co SO served a local warrant on one adult male, Tyrell Chandler, and a 72hr Pick Up and Hold Probation warrant on one adult male, Russell McKague; both males transported to the Phillips/Blaine Co line to transfer custody to a PCSO Deputy; males transported to the PCSO and incarcerated into PCSO Jail on those charges.

9:33 p.m. Male reported finding a spent bullet casing and a hole in his residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

August 29, 2017

8:38 a.m. Central Security reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay and no fire.

9:19 a.m. Malta Grade School employee reported a possibly missing juvenile; Sheriff and Undersheriff responded to the call; juvenile located and was okay.

11:17 a.m. Malta High School employee requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

1:04 p.m. Female reported a water leak in a residential area; information passed onto City employee.

1:28 p.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported a vehicle driving on a tire rim and causing sparks on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and advised.

3:19 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire, north of Dodson and Wagner; Malta, Dodson and Turner Fire Depts along with several volunteers responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

3:22 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon Wednesday to 4am Thursday.

3:47 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male in pain; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

4:54 p.m. Female reported a vehicle parked in front of her residence for an extended amount of time and did not belong to the caller; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

5:47 p.m. Female reported a male driving a bus without license plates on the vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; male located and advised to get license plates on the vehicle before driving it again.

7:39 p.m. Deputy transported two adult males, Tyrel Chandler and Russell McKague, from Phillips Co Jail to Valley Co Detention Center.

8:33 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked.

August 30, 2017

12:57 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

3:46 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from noon today until 4am Thursday.

8:57 a.m. Central Security reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay and no fire.

12:38 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a family member at a residence west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; family member located and was okay.

1:33 p.m. Deputy assisted with traffic control for a funeral procession.

2:07 p.m. Female reported seeing possible smoke south of Hwy 2, west of Malta; Sheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, just dust blowing up.

2:46 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4am Thursday.

4:32 p.m. Male reported a hitchhiker sitting at a local business with a dog; Deputy handled the call.

5:17 p.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle near their residence east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and all was okay, just hunting doves.

5:59 p.m. Male reported the city water pump wasn’t working; information passed onto City employee.

6:14 p.m. Deputy served a local warrant on one adult female, Eugenia Plummer; female later released on bond.

6:46 p.m. Male reported stray dogs at his residence east of Malta; owners later located.

7:49 p.m. Male reported a female attempting to break into a residence; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

7:55 p.m. Female reported loud music coming from a neighbor’s residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the reported area.

8:31 p.m. Male reported receiving several “vulgar” phone calls; Deputy handled the call.

10:50 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

3:12 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

4:15 p.m. Blaine Co FD requested mutual aid from Malta FD for the fire south of Havre; Malta Firefighters responded to the call.

6:25 p.m. Female requested assistance with lifting a family member who had fallen; caller did not want an ambulance; Deputy handled the call.

7:04 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female in pain at a Saco residence; Saco EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the Glasgow Hospital.

10:16 p.m. Female reported a juvenile run-away; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; juvenile located at another local residence and transported to PCSO to meet with her mother.

September 1, 2017

4:15 a.m. 911 received requesting medical assistance for a male having cardiacarrhythmia in Garfield Co; call transferred to Garfield Co SO.

8:57 a.m. Bureau of Reclamation employee advised there is no campfires allowed on any BOR land; signs would be posted.

11:59 a.m. Male reported a female sitting near a residence with a rifle; Deputy responded to the call; all was okay, just a BB gun.

12:26 p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance on a traffic stop, east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; Trooper later transported one adult male, Steven Rowe, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Speeding, Driving without a Valid Driver’s License and a MHP-Great Falls warrant.

4:18 p.m. Male reported theft of tools; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:10 p.m. BNSF Police reported railroad ties on fire east of Malta; Malta Fire Dept responded to the call; BNSF called back and reported the fire was out, no FD needed anymore; Malta FD canceled.

6:09 p.m. Female reported a vehicle with its flashers on and a female waving her arms, on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

6:12 p.m. Male reported a female “taking pictures of his residence” and harassing him; Deputy handled the call.

6:24 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the game vs. Roundup.

7:07 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Steven Rowe, from PCSO Jail on bond.

7:34 p.m. 911 received reporting two individuals arguing for an extended amount of time; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a verbal dispute.

8:48 p.m. Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Sunday morning through Monday evening.

8:52 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a tenant; Deputy handled the call.

9:22 p.m. Female reported a female in dark clothing walking on the Milk River Bridge; caller was concerned she would get hit by a vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; female not located.

9:35 p.m. Local Ambulance transported a patient from the football field to the PC Hospital.

10:30 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

11:13 p.m. Anonymous reported a possible house party with juveniles at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; all individuals were adults and were advised to shut it down at midnight.

11:59 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

September 2, 2017

12:01 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance for a situation that might “escalate” at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; female left the location without further incident.

4:47 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

9:00 a.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult female, Kiahmara Cuesta, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Speeding, No Liability Insurance and Driving While Suspended charges.

9:35 a.m. Local Ambulance and Fire Dept reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

9:53 a.m. Reserve Deputy reported to the Saco Fun Days to escort the Saco Fun Days parade.

10:18 a.m. Saco Ambulance reported to downtown Saco for the Saco Fun Days parade.

11:02 a.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult female, Alicia Werk, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Speeding, Expired Registration, No Liability Insurance and a Blaine Co SO warrant; case file started.

12:53 p.m. Deputy released one adult female, Alicia Werk, from PCSO Jail on bond.

1:13 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, east of Malta; occupants advised the keys were locked inside when they got out to stretch their legs; Reserve Deputy assisted with getting the vehicle unlocked.

1:25 p.m. Deputy released one adult female, Kiahmara Cuesta, from PCSO Jail on bond.

3:02 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 6am-9pm Sunday.

4:58 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a civil standby; Deputies handled the call.

6:57 p.m. Deputy reported a building door left open that should be closed; case file started.

12:47 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

1:16 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible fight at a local tavern; Deputies responded to the call; individuals left on their own accord; case file started.

2:48 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 6am-9pm.

9:39 a.m. Male reported a non-injury fender/bender near a local business; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

9:45 a.m. Local Fire Dept and Ambulance reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

2:41 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle taking pictures of the caller’s residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not at the location upon arrival.

5:41 p.m. Male reported an intoxicated male on Hwy 191 north; Deputy responded to the call; male taken to his residence.

6:22 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm.

8:31 p.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding being harassed; Deputy handled the call.

3:46 a.m. Female reported a possible domestic situation at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; case file started; female transported to another residence for the night.

10:18 a.m. Undersheriff assisted with blocking traffic for a funeral procession on Central Ave.

10:52 a.m. Local Fire Dept and Ambulance reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

1:32 p.m. Male reported a possible fire south of Hwy 2, west of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, just dust blowing up.

1:49 p.m. Female reported an erratic ATV in the Landusky area; Deputy responded to the call; drivers located and advised.

1:55 p.m. Female reported erratic ATVs on a residential street and near the PC Hospital; Deputy responded to the call; ATV drivers located and advised to keep it out of town.

2:25 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm.

4:11 p.m. Female requested ACO assistance with trapping several cats at her residence; information passed onto ACO.

4:43 p.m. Male requested extra patrol down his alley; information passed onto Deputies.

5:54 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident with no one around on Hwy 191 south of Malta; information passed onto MHP Dispatch and MHP handled the crash.

5:56 a.m. Female reported an injured deer by Stine’s crossing; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

7:41 a.m. Male reported a cement truck with a flat tire on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; business sent assistance out for the vehicle.

9:55 a.m. Male reported lost property.

10:37 a.m. Male reported he had been “attacked” by another male in the Saco area; Undersheriff responded to the call; information passed onto Adult Probation Officer; case file started.

11:01 a.m. Several calls received reporting a NorthWestern Energy phone scam; information passed onto KMMR and posted on Facebook advising these calls are scams and not real.

12:55 p.m. Male reported individuals burning in south Phillips Co; information passed onto local BLM Ranger.

2:23 p.m. Female reported an IRS phone scam.

3:52 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding a vehicle “speeding” down Central Ave; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding.

4:49 p.m. Several 911s received reporting a hay truck and trailer on fire north of Malta on Hwy 191; Undersheriff, Deputies and local Fire Dept responded to the call; hay removed from the trailer and monitored for the night; semi truck and trailer saved with minimal damage to the trailer.

9:04 p.m. Female reported another female “driving down the alley behind her residence; Deputy handled the call.

September 6, 2017

1:56 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on the individuals monitoring the hay fire; all found to be okay, fire was burnt out.

5:55 a.m. Male reported a “dislodged manhole cover” in the downtown area; information passed onto City employees.

7:30 a.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding on Hwy 2, going through Malta; information passed onto local MHP Trooper.

7:55 a.m. Deputy reported to the Malta Grade School playground for a presentation.

8:25 a.m. Female reported an aggressive dog near the walking path on 9th St W; Deputy responded to the call; dog not located.

10:59 a.m. Female reported individuals lighting a campfire near Nelson Reservoir and it is marked no campfires; Deputy responded to the call; individuals located and advised to put it out and not to start another one.

11:54 a.m. Male reported a two vehicle fender/bender in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; white forms issued.

3:05 p.m. Female reported a theft of property from a tenant; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:26 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with another female who was harassing the caller and her fiancée; incident occurred in Valley Co; Deputy responded to the call and advised it needed to be reported in Valley Co.

4:37 p.m. Individuals reported a lost purse; Deputy responded to the call; male later reported the purse had been located and returned to them.

5:22 p.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

7:03 p.m. Male reported an elk had been hit by a vehicle and was still alive earlier in the day; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

9:45 p.m. Female requested extra patrol around her residence for a female who keeps driving by.

11:59 p.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Rodney Stordahl, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a local warrant; male later released on bond.

September 7, 2017

7:57 a.m. Female reported a dead antelope on Hwy 2, east of Malta; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.

8:47 a.m. Female requested a building check on her residence as she was out of town and thought it had been broken into; Deputy responded to the call; residence found to be okay.

9:50 a.m. Male reported a Publisher’s Clearing House scam.

12:25 p.m. Female requested ACO assistance with a cat that was caught in a trap; ACO handled the call.

3:50 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with questions about a stolen debit card; Deputy handled the call.

6:11 p.m. Male requested extra patrol around a residence.

6:34 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Dario Carrasco, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a local warrant.

11:43 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

September 8, 2017

3:14 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a possibly suicidal male in Hill Co; call transferred to Hill Co SO.

8:27 a.m. Central Security reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay and no fire.

10:35 a.m. Female reported a NorthWestern Energy scam.

10:46 a.m. Female reported a phone scam.

1:13 p.m. Female reported a vehicle speeding on a residential street; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

6:19 p.m. Local business reported a dog had been hit and left in a box by their garbage can; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and dog returned to the owner.

6:25 p.m. Females requested law enforcement assistance with an individual harassing them and constantly driving by their residence; Deputy responded to the call.

8:22 p.m. Deputy performed a security check on a building with lights left on; all found to be okay, no one around and it was locked up.

9:04 p.m. Havre PD served a local warrant on one adult male, Mark Messerly.

9:10 p.m. Female reported damage to her fence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:21 p.m. Female reported vandalism to an apartment door; Deputy responded to the call; no vandalism to property, just junk food left on the door step.

9:45 p.m. Female reported juveniles throwing rocks at houses; Deputy responded to the call; juveniles located and advised to stop.
