Buster Deo VFW Patriot's Pen competition

This year the Buster Deo VFW Post 4067 has provided the schools throughout the county entry forms for the 2017-18 Patriot’s Pen competition will draw 120,000 entries for the grades six through eight. This year students will pen original essays on the theme “America’s Gift to My Generation”. The essay will be between 300 and 400 words and all entries are due October 31, 2017 to the local VFW Post. Entries within schools are usually provided to the teacher in charge of the program entries and then to the VFW.
