One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for November221, 2017

Sympathy and heartfelt wishes are sent to the Morser family and Dixie Moore and Lorraine Hellie on their loss as fire destroyed their homes. In all the cases I have heard that nothing was saved from either home. God Bless you all.

The cooks and the students at the Dodson School had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for the community on Wednesday. The students had all the tables decorated so nicely and everyone was greeted with lots of smiles and were seated and served by the students. A community Thank You to all involved and it was enjoyed and deeply appreciated by everyone.

Sympathy is extended to all the family and friends of Dan Dolphay who passed away in Great Falls and was laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery at Dodson on Saturday. He was Herman Dolphays younger brother.

Polly Solberg attended the speech meet in Glasgow on Saturday. Her grandson, Devon, competed and won in his division.

Jack and Ethel Siemens took all the school bags and the quilts bound for Lutheran World Relief with them Sunday for collection at Havre this week.

The Waphatu Center will have a potluck Thanksgiving dinner for all those alone on Thanksgiving Day. Bring a dish of something and come join us, Kay says.

It continues to stay cold but at least we have not had the heavy snowfall they have had in parts of the state.

Birthday wishes are sent to Halle Williamson, Steve Tremblay and Virginia Solberg and all others celebrating this week. Anniversary greetings are sent to Steve and Barb Tremblay, Rob and Halle Williamson and Al and Mollie Minugh.

Now about that adage- —"If you have to ask, you can't afford it" — whoever expected it to apply to a postage stamp?

Have a wonderful week and enjoy Thanksgiving, hopefully with family and friends. Enjoy!!
