Carney makes impression

Though his first collegiate season ended in a broken collarbone and a medical redshirt year, former Malta Mustang standout and University of Mary sophomore Tyson Carney was making an impact for the Marauders in 2017.

Carney, Malta High School's 2016 co-valedictorian, (the son of Malta's Darrell Carney and Lori Carney) was introduced to the University of Mary, a college in Bismarck, N.D. At Bismarck in 2015 Carney attended a camp with former Mustangs Jase Galt and Allen Williamson, who were each going into their senior season with Malta that year.
