County Schools to hold trustee elections

May 8, 2018, elections in both the Dodson, Saco and Whitewater School Districts will each fill two trustee positions. The deadline for candidates to file for seats on school boards is March 29, 2018.

In Dodson, Two trustee positions are up for election, one is a two-year term and the other is a three-year term. These seats were held by Luke Walling and Mitch Scheffelmaer. To file for a seat on the Dodson School Board contact Connie Jones, Business Manager/District Clerk, for candidate forms.

The Saco School District #12A & #12B announces the upcoming school election to be held on May 8, 2018. Two trustee position are up for election with a three year term. The seats are currently held by Donni Linn and Holly Salveson. One trustee position is up for election with a one year term. The seat is currently held by Larry Ross Simpson.

To file for a seat on the Saco School Board, contact Mandy Sunford, District Clerk for candidate forms. The deadline to file is April 5, 2018.

In Whitewater, the election will be held for the purpose of electing two (2) trustees for a term of three (3) years.

These seats are currently held by Allie Olsen and Steve Young. Absentee ballots may be obtained from the office of the Clerk of the Whitewater School Lynn Hill until noon on May 7. The polls will be open from noon until 8 p.m. on the said day of the election in the Whitewater School old gym.
