One Nation, Under God

Loring News for February 7. 2018

Winter has made itself known again with a vengeance! We got more snow and colder temperatures, plus the wind! However, I am confident that spring will be arriving soon with lots of songbirds and flowers!

I wonder if I’m the only one who doesn’t really follow the Superbowl. I know that the Eagles won for the first time ever and there was a commercial with Dirty Dancing in it. Sorry, that’s about it. Almost as bad as the three contestants on Jeopardy who didn’t know one answer in the category!

The Loring Lutheran church held its annual meeting on Sunday. The slate of officers remains the same. We discussed the handrails, counter top, and a few other items that need finishing.

The two wrestlers from Whitewater who coop with Malta are going to state in Billings next weekend! Trey Simanton won his weight class for the fourth time and Luke Lawless took second in his weight class! Ten are eligible altogether from Malta!

Nice to connect with old friends! Thanks for the phone call, Debbie Dyrdahl!

Have a good week everyone! See you around the halls, as Kora LaBrie says!
