Sympathy to the family of John Degel (Malta.) John was a reporter for the Phillips County News and was “Santa Claus” for many years.

Bad News: The Phillips Transit will not come to Whitewater. I am very disappointed.

There were basketball games with Nashua, Opheim, and the North Country Maverick teams. Salute to teams who travel so far. Lunch was served by the Quilters group.
