Cabin Fever Crockpot Cooking Classes

Three-night class in March. Phillips County CattleWomen and Malta Boys and Girls Club are teaming up for three Adult Crockpot Cooking Classes, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, March 12, 13 and 15. All ingredients will be provided and classes are $10 each or $25 for all three (scholarships are available and babysitting will be provided.) Space is limited to 10 people per night. The deadline to sign up is March 9 and to register call the Malta Boys and Girls Club at 654-2378.

P.C. Historical Society Meeting

3-12. The Phillips County Historical Society's regular meeting will be held Monday, March 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. Everyone is invited. In the event of inclement weather, notification will be on KMMR.

Malta Trails Meeting

3-12. The Malta Trails Meeting is Monday, March 12 at Stretch's Casino Room starting at 6 p.m. All Board members please attend.

Malta Child Find Preschool Screening

3-14. Hi-Line Home Programs, in cooperation with Malta Public Schools, will offer a free developmental assessment for children ages birth—through the day before their third birthday on Wednesday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Malta Lutheran Church, 316 S 3rd Ave W

Please bring your child, even if you do not have a current concern about their development. It only takes about 20 minutes to complete the assessment, and your child will receive a free book. The screening also includes a free audiology exam. You will receive a full developmental report in the mail which includes information about how to further your child’s development. Contact the Malta Elementary School at 654-2320 to make an appointment; contact Khristi Drabbs at Hi-Line Home Programs at 228-9431 if you have any questions.

Montana Veterans Affairs

3-15. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, March 15, from 9:30 until 11 a.m. to meet with

Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

Malta Kiwanis meeting

3-20. The Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at Westside Cafe. Remember: Kids need Kiwanis and Kiwanis needs YOU!

Free Google Class

3-20. Reserve your spot today for the upcoming “Everything Google” training on Tuesday, March 20, instructed by Kelly McCann and Dina Meneely. This free training will run from 6-8 pm at the Malta High School Computer Lab and will cover Google features such as Google Drive which includes forms, docs and slides, Google handouts, video meeting, phone and chat.
