Town of Saco Job Opening - Part Time Clerk

The Town of Saco has an immediate opening for the position of Part-Time Clerk. Hours and basic job duties to include but not limited to:

5 days per week, 20 hours a week with hours being an option form 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Hours are negotiable.

Hourly rate of $14.00/hour and a pay raise is available after clerk certification.

Prorated benefits.

Computer skills are a must.

Clerk position deals with public on a daily basis and tasks to include all reports needed, bank deposits, utility billing, budgeting and other miscellaneous office duties. A more complete job description will be available at the interview.

Senior Center Director/Manager

Position is two-fold as it is the full Directorship of the Harlem Senior Center as well as the Onsite Manager of the Little Rockies Retirement Apartments. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to numerous entities. Do all the general financial accounting and reporting. Prepare, order and keep inventory of all groceries, supplies, senior commodities and equipment. Organize/supervise/collect data on all daily, weekly, and monthly senior center activities held at the center. Daily interaction and social time with seniors. Daily secretarial duties. Supervise janitor and cooks positions. Must enjoy working with senior citizens; be able to multi-task; have good computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quick Books; able to work Monday through Saturday each week, plus occasional evenings and Sundays; and be able to deal with various personalities.
