NAN 2018-19 concerts include Malta grad and Supaman

Northeastern Arts Network 2018-19 Big Sky Concert Series will feature four concerts including Kristen Estelle (Engebretson), Malta's own, and the Heartstrings.

The Northeastern Arts Network is pleased to present the 2018-19 Big Sky Concert Series to our community. This year's series features a kaleidoscope of musical entertainment as part of this art organization's ongoing commitment to provide quality entertainment to the community with a variety of shows that will appeal to every age and interest.

Join us on Monday, October 1st for hometown musician Kristen Estelle (Engebretson) and the Heart-strings. Kristen Estelle was originally a classically trained clarinetist, hailing from the prairies of Malta, Mont. She eventually found her way to the precipice of New York's vocal jazz scene. Singer/songwriter Kristen Estelle's melodies are full of wordplay and fun-filled jest. Her music is a vivacious fusion of Indie-pop with a twist of jazz featured on her debut EP Secrets.

On October 29th we proudly present Montana artist Supaman. Award-winning Native American Dancer and Innovative Hip Hop Artist who has dedicated his life to empowering and spreading a message of hope and faith through hip hop music. Supaman combines Native American culture and urban Hip-Hop culture which dazzles audiences and captivates listeners.

Sundae and Mr. Goessel joins the series on February 18th. This unique "Vintage Jazz" Award-winning duo from Seattle has been delighting audiences across the US with their wit, charm and serious chops! The charming couple engages audiences with fresh arrangements of tunes from the 1920's – 1950's. Voted Best Jazz Act of 2017 by the Seattle Weekly, this duo is sure to make your heart sway!

Six Appeal closes the series on Thursday, March 25th. Six Appeal is a world class vocal ensemble infused with sharp comedic timing and the energy and vitality of a rock band. Swearing off instruments, the award-winning vocal band Six Appeal takes you on a journey that spans the decades of music. Performing classic oldies, current chart toppers and catchy original tunes – completely a cappella.

All concerts are held at Malta High School auditorium beginning 7:00 p.m. Season tickets can be purchased at the door: adults $45, seniors $40, and students $35.
