Sympathy to Sally Austin and family on the loss of brother Mickey Ivanovitch, a former U.S. Marine.

Late happy October birthdays, to Joyce (Austin) Donovan, my niece, and Justin Austin, my nephew. Also to Leona Siewing, Marlene Holman, Lloyd Dionne and all October birthdays I may have missed.

Hello to BLM employees from Georgia. They are visiting the Wisher family while checking BLM land in this area and living in a tent.

Welcome to Connie and husband who are visiting the Wishers family here in Whitewater. I didn’t get last names yet.

Whitewater School was dismissed for teachers conference for two days last week. Children enjoyed a little vacation.

Now junior high basketball begins. It is fantastic how time flies.

There have been many airplanes flying over Whitewater. Maybe they are on training missions. I hope they aren’t spies.

Tuesday, I went to Leona Siewing’s birthday party. It was very nice.

It is a beautiful day here in Whitewater. I hope it lasts.

Again, don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 4, 2018. I wish they would leave it all alone, one way or the other.

Get out and vote on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. I voted absentee ballot already. If you don’t vote, don’t complain!

Have a good week.

Helen A.
