May Poppies

May. The Malta American Legion Auxiliary will be distributing poppies during the month of May. Please honor our fallen heroes by wearing a poppy.

GPDM open

5-1. The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum will be opening on Wednesday, May 1 at 10 a.m. for the season. Many exciting activities planned for the summer.

MHS Pops

5-8. The Malta High School Pops Concert will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 at the MHS Auditorium.

RSA Board meeting

5-9. Ranchers Stewardship Alliance board meeting will be May 9 at 6 p.m. in the Malta Business Center. Please attend.

Malta Dirt Daubers

5-13. The Malta Dirt Daubers will meet on Monday, May 13 at 5:30 p.m. for plant and bulb sale at Toni Z's home. Public welcome!

Historical Society meeting

5-13. The Phillips County Historical Society's regular meeting will be on Monday, May 13, 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. Everyone welcome!

MMS Pops

5-14. The Malta Middle School Pops Concert will start at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at the MHS Auditorium.

Local Working Group

5-14. Phillips County Local Working Group meeting will be held Tuesday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Phillips County Library basement. Contact Shilo Messerly 654-1334x 104 or Jenifer Anderson 654-4262. This is a valuable part of the NRCS planning process, all are welcome to attend.

Malta VFW Auxiliary meeting changed

5-15. Malta VFW Auxiliary monthly meeting for Wednesday, May 8 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 15 at 6 p.m. Installation of officers. Please attend.

Composting class

5-15. The Phillips Conservation District Soil Health Composting class will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 6-8 p.m. in the Phillips County Library basement.

Montana Veterans Affairs

5-24. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, May 14, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

FCCLA Fundraiser

5-24. FCCLA is having a sea food boil on Friday, May 24, at 6 p.m. for a fundraiser to go to National FCCLA in July. We are selling tables of 8 and tables of 12. It will cost $45 per person. If interested please call the high school office at 654-2002 to reserve a table before May 15, 2019.
