Parker lands TV Academy internship

Adam Parker, a recent graduate of Stephens College who hails from Malta, MT, has been selected to participate in the Television Academy Foundation’s 2019 Internship Program.

Parker, who received a Master of Fine Arts in TV and screenwriting, will be an intern this summer in the movies for television development department at Daniel L. Paulson Productions in Beverly Hills, CA.

The Television Academy Foundation’s annual Internship Program provides 50 paid internships, at top Hollywood studios and production companies, to college students nationwide. The prestigious program gives both undergraduate and graduate students in-depth and hands-on professional experience in a variety of television careers during the eight-week internship.

“I love television because it embraces the complex nature of the human condition, giving creators enough time to construct intricate portraits of interesting characters,” said Parker. “I applied to the Television Academy Foundation’s Internship program because it’s the gold standard of TV internship programs and I’ve heard that reputation allows it to partner with companies who are at the forefront of the industry.”
