Phillips County Fair Schedule

THURSDAY, AUGUST 1

10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Registration: 4-H - Steel Building. Weigh scale opens at 10 a.m.

2 p.m. Weigh Scale Closes for Animals to be weighed.

4 p.m. Judging will take place in the following order: Swine Showmanship, Breeding Wine Class, and Market Swine.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 2

6:30 a.m. 4-H/ First State Bank Breakfast

8 a.m. Judging will take place in the following order: Beef Showmanship, Market Beef, and Breeding Beef

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 4-H judging begins - Steel Building.

12 p.m. Judging of Sheep Showmanship, Market and Breeding.

3 p.m. Small Animal Judging – Cats, Dogs, Rabbits then Poultry.

2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Steel building open to the public when judging is finished. Closes at 8 p.m.

7 p.m. Casey Donahew and Randy Rogers Bands live in Concert.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 3

6:30 a.m. 4-H/ First Security Bank Breakfast.

8 a.m. Round Robin Showmanship

9:30 a.m. 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale

10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Steel Building Exhibits open.

Noon: AMX Races.

6 p.m. Demolition Derby.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 4

7 a.m. 4-H/ Independence Bank/ CHS Breakfast.

11 a.m. The Indian Relay Race heat qualifiers and

11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Steel Building Exhibits open and kid's race.

1 p.m. Parade of Champions - Grandstand.

1:30 p.m. Youth Rodeo. (follows qualifying heats of Indian Relay Races.)

3:30 p.m. 4-H Trophy Presentation.

4 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Exhibitors may pick up property in 4-H Building.

5 p.m. Third Annual Joe Kirkaldie Memorial Race, MMIW Tribute, Michael Dean Ball Memorial, Chariot Race, Relay Race Calcutta, Consolation, and Championship.

Phillips Transit Authority Fair Schedule

The Phillips County Fair is once again providing FREE transportation to and from the fairgrounds. (A $1/person gate admission to the fair will be collected when you load the bus. All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.)

The pickup and drop off location will be at the First State Bank parking lot in Malta or call Phillips Transit at 406-654-5301 to schedule a pickup.
