Helen Maude Brown Cornel

Helen Maude Brown Cornell, 82, was born May 12, 1938, to Howard and Theresa Brown. She died Sunday morning, July 19, 2020, from natural causes.

As a child, she had several homes until they settled in Malta. After graduating from MHS, she married Leo Mac Cornell and they proceeded to make a home and family.

A voice like a songbird, she was hired for several singing engagements. She was a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and Title One teacher.

Proudly she raised her family. With her sweet soul, she did several service projects till she died, still crocheting hundreds of caps, every cold season. Most folks remember her candy, divinity would just melt in your mouth.

Helene was proceeded in death by a set of twins (babies), daughter Jessie M., her husband Leo (Mac), parents Howard and Theresa Brown, and brother Monty Brown.

She is survived by Sister Sandy Jones (Columbia Falls, MT) Son, Leo Jr. (Washington), Connie (Jake) Dauch, Tracey (Randy) Setzer, Leah (Larry) Morin all of Great Falls. 13 Grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. And Yern, her kitty, has a forever home with Connie and Jake.
