One Nation, Under God

Loring News for August 19, 2020

The dog days of summer are here! So hot during the day but cools off nicely at night. My sunflowers are attracting the little goldfinches and the red-winged blackbirds. I saw a family of sharp tail Huns one day but haven't seen them since! The red tail Hawks and marsh Hawks have to eat too they say!

Pete and Carol Lumsden stopped to visit on Sunday. They have been busy with grandkids and farming. Almost ready to start combining.

I saw the yellow school bus go by this morning! I pray that the school kids and teachers and all the support systems have a healthy year! Go Penguins!

Brenda Clark and the kids spent a week or two at Fort Peck. The girls were in a theater camp and Ryan and Brenda did other activities! It looked like the perfect end to the summer!

The night sky has been so clear and the stars so bright with just a sliver of moon. The meteor shower was amazing!

The vegetables I've gotten from some gardeners have been so delicious! I don't have a garden, but appreciate others who do!

Saige, Zoey, and Jeannie were visitors at Rodney Stordahl’s and everyone came down to Gramma Dixie’s for dinner on Saturday! They are getting ready for school in Billings, Saige as a junior and Zoey as a Kindergartner! It's hard for this Gramma to believe!

Until next time love one another!
