Commissioners Approve Mail-In Ballots, Council on Aging Budget

Phillips County Commissioner Richard Dunbar reports that both action items of the August 17 Agenda were approved last Monday in Malta.

“Understandably, many people have been concerned with making sure that the election goes as smoothly and safely as possible,” Commissioner Dunbar noted. “About 75-percent of voters are already registered to receive absentee ballots in Phillips County, so we are already pretty well set-up to handle something like this. Voters in Montana, especially in counties with smaller populations like ours can be assured that their votes are safe.”
