Lady Mavericks start season 2-1

The North Country Lady Mavericks Volleyball Team welcomes back a lot of talent and experience this season, as teams across the country. So far the team has seen the most action of any team in Phillips County.
The team started the year with an 0-3 loss to Plentywood on Saturday, August 29. The Mavericks bounced back the next week to defeat Malta 3-2 last Thursday, September 3, and then Scobey 3-1 on Friday, September 5.
Prior to their first games of the season, the Lady Mavericks held practices which began on Friday, August 14.
