Some of Helen Vogel's kids were home for a few days and helped her out with a few chores.

They went home on Thursday.

Terri Cole attended a transit meeting in Malta on Wednesday.

The community sends condolences to the family of Virginia Koss. She is remembered by all her work with 4-H and co-managing the 4-H concession at the Fair. Condolences are also sent to the family of Dr. Michael Veseth. He practiced dentistry in Malta for many years and treated many people in the community.

Dora Henry attended a COA meeting in Malta on Wednesday. Because of the Covid there will be no potluck or meeting in December unless something unexpected comes up.

Kudos to Glen Dolphay for coming and helping our neighbor who was stuck in his yard. You are appreciated Glen!

Dean and Carol Kienenberger came on Sunday and picked up the 12 quilts and the school bags I had made for the Lutheran World Relief. This seems like a year when all helping hands, no matter how small are needed.

Greetings are sent out to all having birthdays and anniversaries this week. Hope they are good ones!!

I hope everyone enjoys this Thanksgiving season and the close Christmas season with families and friends with care and safety as much as the Covid lets them and still keeps them safe. Have a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving and I wish God's Blessing to all!!

In some ways , Social Security is like sex. By the time you get it, you wonder if it was worth waiting for.
