MHS Administration threatened last Thursday

On the evening of Thursday, April 15, 2021, a report was received by the Phillips County Sheriff's Office regarding a possible threat towards Malta High School administration.

The Sheriff's Office notified the administrators of the High School of this threat.

The student who made the threat was contacted prior to school starting on Friday, April 16, 2021, and it was determined the student would not be attending school that day.

The Sheriff went to the high school as a precaution while a deputy sheriff monitored the student's activities until the student left the Malta area.
