One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for May 12, 2021

Sympathy to all who are affected by the tornadoes. There are none in Montana anyway,

“Happy Birthday” to all May birthday and Anniversaries.

Did everyone have a nice Mother’s Day? If you didn’t’ call your Mom, then call her today.

Whitewater Lutheran Church was full Sunday. There was an “affirmation of Baptism” service for young people. It was followed by a delicious potluck.

Whitewater Baccalaureate will be May 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Whitewater Graduation will be May 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Congratulations to all Graduates. Good luck in your future.

Congratulations to all participants of track. Kelsey Cummings was winner of the shot put. (Lexie Haynes was the owner of this title in 1977, in Whitewater.)

The school year is winding down rapidly. (Students are sad, haha).

Last week I went to Malta and met my daughter Gayle. We “cashed in my gift certificate” I earned from the KMMR radio auction. A fun day.

Jeanie G. went to a ranch near Lewistown to help do lambing! Maybe she needs a “sheep wagon”.

When I grew up on a sheep ranch, Dad had “sheep herders”. Guess they no longer exist in 2021.

In Whitewater areas, most farmers are seeding crops. It sure is dry. We all pray for rain.

This is “Gods Country”. (Just now I heard this song on the radio).

Mom’s tulips are blooming, red, pink, and yellow. Beautiful!

Enjoy your spring!
