“Happy Birthday” to May Birthdays, including Jana Wisher.

“Happy Memorial Day.” I usually decorate graves of Mom, Dad, and Harry Jr. (brother). Some people have picnics, many in Whitewater have cabins at the Nelson Lake Reservoir, where they spend the weekend.

Now that school is out, life is quieter in Whitewater. Most students live in rural areas. However, some youngsters ride bikes or play on the playground.

This is the final week of track. Participants went to tournaments. The Cummings family attended also. Congratulations to all WHS track participants.

Recently, I got a phone call from my cousin Ray Cuetins! It was good to visit with him and catch up on family news. Ray and his family were missionaries in Africa and other places. He now lives in Seattle, Washington.

Janet Brown (my sis) said her granddaughter Elizabeth has been in the army and was promoted to lieutenant, at a ceremony in Texas. Congratulations to her,

We finally had lots of rain in the Whitewater area. The grass turned green and tall overnight.

Steve Young, (local landscaper and gardener), mowed my lawn. Thanks, Steve!

The birds of different kinds are back. We have many meadowlarks. I love their songs.

Get well wishes to David Lightfoot of Whitewater, a stagecoach owner and driver. David had an accident.

Whitewater Lutheran Church has camp at Glacier Bible Camp, also there is vacation bible school is Malta. For info call the church or contact Pastor Bob Nagy.

Note: An apple a day keeps the Doctor away, but an onion a day keeps everyone away!
