On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 0739 hours, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office was notified of a pursuit of a vehicle by Fort Belknap Police officers on Route 66, heading South towards US 191. Sheriff Jerry Lytle, Undersheriff Kevin Metcalf, and Deputy Seth Sanguins engaged and
started driving south of Malta towards the location of the pursuit.
The pursuit continued towards Landusky, then to 7 Mile Road, then to Bear Gulch Road and towards US 191.
Sheriff Lytle was able to successfully deploy stop sticks at the intersection of Bear Gulch Road and US 191, puncturing the rear driver's sid...
