    On Tuesday, July 20, 2021, shortly after 7 A.M., the Phillips County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a single vehicle crash near mile marker 25 on US 191 North of Malta, MT. Sheriff/Coroner Jerry Lytle was dispatched to the scene and pronounced the driver, Martin Ray Campbell, age 42, of Malta, Montana deceased.     On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 0739 hours, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office was notified of a pursuit of a vehicle by Fort Belknap Police officers on Route 66, heading South towards US 191. Sheriff Jerry Lytle, Undersheriff Kevin Metcalf, and Deputy Seth Sanguins engaged and started driving south of Malta towards the location of the pursuit.
