"Tails and Tales" Malta Library Kicks Off its Summer Reading Program

The Phillips County Library has the theme of “Tails and Tales” for this summer’s reading program. Preschoolers through coming high school seniors are encouraged to sign up and earn an award for every five hours of reading, up to 40 hours. Sign-up began the week of June 7. It is important to read during the school break to help avoid the “summer slump”.
It is with great appreciation that the library thanks its sponsors who make the summer reading program such a success. The library has a selection of various items for all the readers who make the first five hours of reading time....
