One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, January 26, 2022

Between the warmer temps and the wind, our snow is mostly gone! Bring on the next storm!

The sunsets have been very artistically pleasing! Very colorful!

Tina Russell hosted the Loring Woman’s Club on Wednesday. Six ladies attended. Our group is getting smaller. Tina will be moving so she passed the Treasurer's job on to Dixie Stordahl. We all will miss Tina and Charles, but wish them all the best!

Our prayers are with John Flansaas, who fell and broke his hip. He is scheduled for a hip replacement this morning. Carol Lumsden is in Billings with him.

There are several large herds of antelope north of Malta. I saw some at the bottom of Mitch Hill, some by the Whitewater Y, quite a few at Jason Morrison’s, and even more on the Turner Cut Across! It seems like 100 in each herd!

I have not seen a snowy owl yet this year! But I’ve seen bald eagles several times!

Cindy Clark and I went over to Whitewater Lutheran Church on Sunday and enjoyed the service and a delicious pot luck dinner afterwards! The fellowship was marvelous.

The North Country Mavericks had both games postponed this weekend because the other teams had too many sick people. I’m anxiously waiting for this COVID virus to take a hike!

I have decided to have a "Paint with Dixie" session on Sunday afternoon, January 30, at 1:30 if anyone would like to join me. I’ll be at the Loring Lutheran Church basement. So give me a call to say if you’ll be there so I have enough supplies. 406-674-7072.

Have a great week!
