Short-handed Lady Coyotes lose to 3C District teams

The Dodson Lady Coyotes basketball team was short-handed this week, but fought hard against three district opponents last week.

The Lady Coyotes are scheduled to face the Roy-Winifred Lady Outlaws on Friday, February 4, in Roy, at 6 p.m. They will then host the Poplar Indians on Saturday, February 5, at 6 p.m.

Dodson faced Turner on Thursday, January 28, and lost 52-44.

The Lady Coyotes jumped out to a 16-8 lead by the end of the first quarter, but ran out of steam and were outscored two of the final three quarters. Turner outscored Dodson 12-4 in the second to tie things up at halftime. Do...
