One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, April 20, 2022

Sympathy to the Dunbar family and friends of a real Pioneer Lady "Nel Cruickshank."She was the last of her pioneer family. We heard she passed at the home of Dixie (Dunbar)Moore. So sad. I will gather info about her life later.

Wesley and Marlene Anderson of Seattle, Washington were visiting the Anderson cousins north of Whitewater They also visited Pat Murdock and Lexie (her daughter.) Hello to all.

Last week here in the Whitewater area the wind caused the power/electricity to go out! About six hours after, our reliable Big Flat Electric Co. guys had the lines and poles repaired.

This week, the MDU (Montana Dakota Utilities) Co must have been testing gas lines and fire alarms. My house actually whistled from Fire Extinguisher and gas line tests. Then Tuesday it chirped like a bird! I hope they found out what they wanted to know.

Sunday, after church we had a delicious dinner hosted by Janice Reichelt. Family members attending were Sally Austin, Jeanie Green, Julie Austin Cole, Curt Reichelt, and myself. A nice birthday dinner.

Then Jeanie took Julie, Sommer, Rory Green, and me to the matinee (movie)at the Villa Theater. It was fun but I have seen better movies. It was titled "Sonic" something, a cartoon that was really far out and wild. We all enjoyed popcorn and soda. My very favorite past movie was "the Sound of Music."More about movies another time. Have a good week.

Just,

Helen
