One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, June 1, 2022

The news is so terrible about school shootings, once more we need GUN CONTROL.

May 2022 is almost over. It has been a busy month, with graduations, and activities. Now Whitewater is quiet, as school is out.

Since most students live out of town and ride school buses, they are gone for the summer.

Justin Austin was home, doing spring ranch work. He turned to Colorado and his family.

Three members of Linda Berg's family were in Whitewater, from Val Marie Canada. They were sorting cattle at Linda’s house. We all still miss Linda.

Jim and Pat Murdock's, son brought 2 friends from Oklahoma to visit Pat, and sightsee our Montana.

Many from out of state enjoy the peace and beauty of Montana.

These people are buying homes here in Montana, including Whitewater homes.

Leona and Seth Siewing visited Whitewater last week. Thanks to them for the plant they gave me. Also, Seth may do yard work in Whitewater this summer.

Jean Green, Sommer Green and I went to Billings. I visited and stayed with my sister, Janet Brown. Jeanie and Sommer went to the state track meet to see Jeanies grandson. They also met Merissa Wahl and family (Jeanies daughter). We all visited, ate, played Bingo, and played piano there. Fun!

We met Janet’s family and went to dinner. That’s the first all the family has been together. They all grew up in Whitewater. Some people remember Carol, Gene, Kelly and Glenn.

Back in Whitewater, the weather is beautiful, sunny, and warm. But we still need more rain. Pray for us.

Here's a fact for ranchers: cows have 4 stomachs.

As Always,

Helen A.
